extreme ball!

Takoyaki is a very popular savory snack from Japan in the shape of round ball. It's normally made of a wheat flour-based batter and typically filled with diced octopus, tempura scraps,red pickled ginger, and spring onion.

In our recipe we mix various seasonings and ingredients with batter, some seasonings we get from local fisherman village in Japan! We put our extreme passion in this dish, therefore we named it EXTREME BALL!

Takoyaki

history

Takoyaki was first popularized in Osaka, where a street vendor named Tomekichi Endo is credited with its invention in 1935. First he was putting soy sauce marinated beef inside but later got inspired by akashiyaki, then started to make with an egg mixed batter and octopus. Takoyaki was initially popular in the Kansai region, and later spread to the Kanto region and other areas of Japan. Nowadays Takoyaki is spreading worldwide, east Asia, south east Asia, north America,

now in Nederland!
